Mexico vs Iran 2006 World Cup Germany
The game started apparently in tribute to mcdonalds advertising to kids. The ceremony where kids come out with the players onto the field is sponsored by McDonalds. Yeay for advertising. Die mcdonalds.

The team captains met and exchanged gifts. Iran gave mexico a framed piece of artwork that looked very detailed... mexico gave Iran a cheap looking kite shaped flag of mexico.

Iran, even though dominating most the time was crushed. Mexico didnt get a lot of serious chances but they still managed to score the majority of the time. Iran would put 6 men back and just slam the ball up the field, allowing the mexicans to continue the attack.

The first goal weas Mexico, who crossed the ball and met with a header and a tap into the goal. It was shocking because the Iranians just seems to be superior. The play was aggressive and there was a lot of falling and resetting up. It was pretty annoying. Iran had a few chances for goals but one was skillfully blocked by the Mexican goaly and the other was a missed kick in front of the goal.

The next and only Iranian goal was also from a cross. A player headed it at the goal and it was defected by the keeper, then it was kicked in by another Iran player.

The next two goals from Mexico happened in the same 2 or 3 minute time frame. The first was a mistake by Iran's goal keeper which led to a two on two situation. The second was from a well directed header.
Viva Mexico!

It was a great game to watch and I'm sure everyone in Mexico City is vandalizing themselves crazy with excitement. PS to IRAN. Please don't nuke Mexico too.

It will be cool if it comes out on google video or youtube to watch the match.
